The Glénan archipelago, a must-see in Finistère
It’s hard not to mention this archipelago, which you can see from the campsite’s beach and which contributes to the region’s fame. And rightly so! Imagine 7 small islets, white sandbanks, crystal-clear water and shades of turquoise… you’re there! In addition to its 15,000 gulls, the archipelago is also home to one of Europe’s most renowned sailing schools. There are several ways to get there from April to September:
- Departing from Trévignon, aboard a 12-seater, 9 m long semi-rigid with 2 150 HP engines.

Treat yourself to a cruise to

These cruises are among the outings we like to recommend. Firstly, because the boat is beautiful, made of warm wood, and secondly, because on the sea side, you’ll have a different view of our beautiful Breton coastline.
You can choose between :
- Sailing in Concarneau Bay with magnificent views of the coastline and its heritage
- Make the crossing to Beg Meil in Fouesnant. The Captain of the Popeye, Croisières Bleuessays it’s like spending a day on an island. And it’s true. The Chemin des douaniers (GR34) awaits you on the other side, leading from the Plage des Dunes to the Sémaphore. Why not bring a picnic or eat a crêpe on the spot? A word of advice: bring your swimsuit… the beaches are beautiful there too.
In all cases, you can take your pets (free) and bicycles (1 supplement) with you on the boat.

Trawlers return to Le Guilvinec and a fishing town
It takes a good hour to get there, but it’s well worth it. Le Guilvinec is France’s 1ᵉʳ artisanal fishing port; if you’re in the area around 3:30 p.m., you might just catch a glimpse of the returning trawlers. Take the opportunity to climb to the top of the Eckmuhl lighthouse.
The Cité de la pêche Haliotika, located above the fish market, offers a range of options, including visits to the fish market, exhibitions, culinary workshops, and half-day or full-day programs. Take your time: if you’re interested in the world of the sea, you won’t be disappointed.
